In 2004 I received a BA degree from West Chester University. After graduating I moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to apprentice with JSG Boggs. Boggs taught me many of the drawing techniques that I use in my line art. He also introduced me to several excellent artist including Levente Jacob and BEP engraver Thomas Hipschen. Between 2005 and 2007 I worked as a freelance artist, doing work for the Naples Banknote Company, The Royal Hawaiian Mint, and the Antarctica Overseas Exchange Office among others. In 2008 I began working full time for a security printing company in Pennsylvania. My specialties are portraits of people and animals, buildings and nudes. My preferred mediums are ink and graphite, although I have worked extensively in oil and acrylic paint. I love working on commissions, so please keep them coming! |
